“Brave”n it Pizza style!

The girls and I went and saw the new Pixar movie “Brave” the other day.  I’m not sure who was more excited about seeing it?  Them or myself?  I have to say, it did not disappoint at all.  It was worth every cent!

After we got home, we were feeling very inspired.  Since we had planned on making pizza anyway, we decided to make our very own “Merida” creations.

 

 

Here is what we did:

 

I gave the kids their own mini pizzas with mozzarella and mini pepperonis.

I topped each pizza with a little olive oil.

Spread it out.

Then I topped them with a little sauce.

Spread it out.  I like to keep my sauce on the lighter side.  Plus, you have less of a mess that way with the kids.

Then I just let the kids go to town with the cheese.

We put them on a cookie sheet and cooked at 425 degrees for 10 – 12 minutes.

They were really yummy!

AND The kids were so proud of themselves.
